President: Peace Conference must Handle all Tangible Issues

KUALA LUMPUR, October 21, 2007 (WAFA)-President Mahmoud Abbas received on Sunday, in his residence in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s Prime Minister Abduollah Bin Ahmad Badawi, Foreign Minister and Secretary General of Foreign Ministry as well as editors in chiefs and TV and radio nets.

President briefed them on the Palestinian efforts on all levels to succeed the forthcoming peace conference, affirming the necessity to end the Israeli occupation to all occupied Palestinian and Arab territories in 1967, reaching a just solution and agreed upon to the issue of the Palestinian refugees in accordance with the UN resolution 194 as well as establishing the independent Palestinian state, with Jerusalem as its capital.

President said that the peace conference must handle all tangible issues according to reference of the peace process, particularly Arab Peace initiative and international legitimacy resolutions and American President’s vision.

President also detailed his guests about the latest developments in the Palestinian territories.
